Zodiac Carbohydrate Columns
- Analysis of Carbohydrates, Sugars & sugar alcohols in different formulations, matrices & substances is a complex process.
- Because Carbohydrates have more physical & chemical similarity, they are bit difficult to analyse when compared to many other compounds and drugs. Any one carbohydrate column may not be able to separate all carbohydrates.
- Hence Zodiac Provides a range of columns to select from inorder to achieve specific, selected separations & analysis of carbohydrates.
- The carbohydrate columns are made of cross-linked polysterene / divinylbenzene (PS/DVB) spherical particles which are further modified with the metal ligands that finally yield columns with sodium, potassium, silver, lead or calcium ligand form.
- In order to maximize the separation of wide variety of sample, Zodiac has developed the most complete line of carbohydrate analysis columns available on the market by combining Ligand exchange (metals), Size exclusion and partitioning (cross-linkage of polymers), particle size (column efficiency) & column size (Speed V/S Resolution).
